profile

I journeyed from my hometown of Waco, Texas to attend Rhode Island School of Design. I graduated with two degrees, Interior Architecture and Architecture, and a passion for co-creating spaces.

After buying a house in 1989, setting up my design practice, and experiencing the Northeast for 17 years, my husband Scott and I moved to New Mexico. Scott specializes as a consultant in alternative wastewater design and implementation and sustainable design practices are an area of focus for us both.

In 2000, I re-established my interior design practice in Taos, creating both residential and commercial spaces. I am licensed with the National Council of Interior Design Qualification. Two of my better known projects are the 18 Native American Suites at El Monte Sagrado Resort and Shadows Lounge & Grill.

We relish living in this awesome place where we can drink in the multicultural environment and hike the plethora of trails with Obi, our canine companion.
